Default Shower Pan Installation

I built a shower pan installation, but realized that first of all I placed the backboard prior to the installation of the liner and cement floor and then cut off the excess liner around the cement floor. What can I do to fix these problem now that the cement floor and excess liner has already been done?

Hello Betsy and Welcome to the Forum:
I would get a tube of silicone tub and tile sealant and spread it very liberally. Sorry it didn't work out for you.

Default I'm sorry...

I don't think you will get very long results with that fix.

Take it apart and do it again.

If you don't have time to do it right ....when will you have time to fix it?

Answer is... a "soon" as it leaks.
Seen way to many shower pans that leak because they were never installed correctly.Ceilings below and floors adjacent to the problem always creap in to the scenario.

Glad to be back to help out.

The important thing with a shower pan liner is to sprinkle it liberaly with backerboard screws and small random plumbing parts. Then and only then walk all over it. this is the best way to insure that it will leak.
