My wife and I have purchased a Cape Cod Home in September of 2006. The house has an attached 1 stall garage that really is too small to use. We are considering expanding the house into the garage structure and bringing the garage to the second level. How Much should we set aside and can we do it our selves or should we hire a contractor.
