Default Toilet is noisy and it’s annoying

Out toilet is too noisy and truly irritating. I’m a resident of Arvada. Would you please help me out in fixing the issue? Also, I shall be much thankful to you if you could suggest a best service provider locally?

What kind of noise do you have, some things can be fixed but some toilets are just noisy flushers.

In my experience, the Fluid Master fill kit is the quietest. I would suggest replacing whatever you have with it. Reliable, inexpensive, readily available, and reasonably quiet. Oh, .... make sure your supply valve is turned completely ON, then back the handle off a little. That is the best position.

I hope, the The flush and refill cycle is shorter and less water is going down the drain. This might be the reason. So, it is, how can we fix this issue?

Replace with the valve unit in the pic that callmeville posted above. Be sure to turn the supply line water off first.

The Fluid Master unit has an adjustable setting for the amount of water it will use. Honestly, it is easy to install if you have plumbing skills. The main thing is to take the time to set the water level properly.

Have fun!

I just replaced two of these. They take about 15-20 minutes to replace assuming you don't run into any problems. They cost less than $10 each and come with complete instructions. Amazingly enough the factory float level setting was exactly correct and did not need any further adjustment. The only adjustment that was necessary was the heigth of the unit to keep the wate line 1" below the overflow tube and that was just a couple of twists to get it right.
