where do i find MDF dolding cheap??

I need about 300 LF of baseboard molding for my house. At the big box stores they sell the one I want for close to $1.50 per foot. I'm sure I can do better. Where and who do i look for to get a better price??

I don't know where you would look in your area. But if you go with the internet, shipping will kill your price.
Just go with the box store.

ORRR, go to the local lumber yard and tell them what you are trying to accomplish. They may just want your business in today's hard times.

I agree with inspector your local lumber yard but not Lowe's or home depot as they only have 12' pieces

I bought a "Pro Pak" of baseboard from Home Depot. I think it was 120' for $55. And it wasn't MDF it was primed wood. It was a lot cheaper to buy the bundles then 12' lengths. At my HD they weren't near the molding they were up by the Pro Desk. Hope this helps.
