Favorite Christmas Ales?
Which are your favorites? I put high on my list Goose Island's, along with Bell's Christmas Ale.
Great Lakes version last year was disappointing to me. It didn't seem to have the usual strength of spices in its flavor. :2cents:  |
I look forward to Granville Island Lions Winter Ale every winter
|
One of the best...
I'm also looking forward to trying Anchor Brewery's Christmas Ale 2011. They change it up every year and design a new label to go with it.
Shawner, what is theirs like? |
It's different. Tastes normal going down and then you're hit with a beauty vanilla aftertaste.

That vanilla sounds great! Is it sold in the states?
Sam Adams has some great beers, The best of which is Cherry Wheat IMHO. |
Wow! Christmas Ales are selling out fast!
At the second grocery store I found what I was after and bought some Goose Island, Anchor, and Bell's Christmas Ales. I had to buy something called a growler for the Bell's ale. New experience... I'm up for it. Anyone ever brew their own Christmas Ale? . |
