Default H1N1 or Swine Flu

Has this impacted your area yet? There are a couple 'unconfirmed' cases in my area at the moment. THey closed two schools as a precaution a few counties away.

What about where you live?

Fourteen cases in Canada so far, but none in Manitoba.

People aren't dying from this flue the way they feared would happen, so it seems that it's not the danger to humanity that earlier pandemics had been.

(But, truth be told, what this world needs is a real good pandemic to kill off 3/4 of the population so that the survivors could maintain a SUSTAINABLE existance on this planet.)

No - haven't heard of any cases here in eastern Montana - knock on wood!

They closed a local high school for this entire week since one student 'might' have caught it.

Everything around here has been fading away.

There is a student in my school with 'swine symptoms', even if she tests positive for it, I doubt that we will close.

Much ado about nothing, it appears. The media has also seemed to have moved on.

Hasn't affected my life at all and never expected it to. The media likes to make a big to-do over these things, even to the detriment of reporting on other more news-worthy items.
