It's a time to think about those how went to jail for wanting to only work 58hours a week or those who gave there lives fighting for safety at work.

Does Canada observe Labor Day as we do here in the states?

I think a gov. of NY state saw what was going on with strikers going to jail in Canada and he started it. Other states followed and when your feds went for it Canada followed that. Like everything else I may be corrected, that history lesson was a while ago.
