Default vapor barrier around windows

I am installing batts with vapor barrier attatched. stuffing insulation around the windows has no paper on it. the widest is probably 2 inches. I am wondering if it is necessary to cover it with something? plastic which I have or what? can good tape work? or nothing at all?

Thanks

Hello PapaSon:
Nothing at all is the best choice; there is a flashing on the outside to cover the area anyway.
