Here are a couple of pictures of my completed bookcase before sanding and staining. It measures 80"x34". My next question is whether I should use a brush or a rag for stain. I would live opinions please.Attachment 6065Attachment 6066

Ok so I am about to take my chainsaw to the bookcase I just built!!!
All went well with the stain and most of the poly. However today the second coat of poly on the inside of a couple of shelves dried to a white tint. Does that mean I put too much on it? What are my options? Here are a couple of pictures of the rest of the bookcase. Attachment 6086Attachment 6087

I know we all like pictures here so I wanted to send a final one of the bookcase in its final resting place. Let me tell you, this thing was heavy. It is 82"x34"x14". 3/4 birch ply with select pine face frame and molding. Attachment 6102Attachment 6103
