Default Is it possible to inspect ducting for holes from inside? Or is this a sci-fi realm?

I suspect that my HVAC ducting in the house might have holes. Is there any technology that can be used to inspect the ducting and find at least the biggest holes by using something that goes inside the ducting? Or doing it any other way short of ripping up floors and ceilings to visually inspect from the outside?

Thx

Some of these duct cleaning people have a scope like the plumbers use, perhaps you can rent one.

I tried to search google for "plumber's scope" but found nothing useful. Do you have a picture or a description of it? How far can it reach?

Or, you could find someone with a Infra-red camera to do a scan of the system.

Default try the door trick

this door trick is a useful way I find to narrow the leak down to a return or supply line. If there are multiple leaks the only real way is to get up close and look.

good luck
