I've got this switch to run my kitchen exhaust. Looking at the diagram I couldn't out how to wire it. I've included a copy of the diagram. If anyone can help, i would greatly appreciate it.

Install it as you would a light switch.
Connect the hot wire (black) from the power source to either wire or lug on the switch.
Connect the other wire or lug from the switch to the exhaust fan wire (black).
Connect the neutral wire (white) from the power source directly to the exhaust fan wire (white).
Connect the ground wire (green) from the power source directly to the exhaust fan casing.

Sorry if that was a dumb question I've never put in a variable speed switch and since it wasn't labeled I figured I would ask instead of potiential burning it up, trying to figure it out.
