Ground Fault Outlet
If I come off the 2 out screws from a GFI outlet to a regular outlet that is non GFI, is the regular outlet also considered GFI?

Outlets connected to the "LOAD" side of a GFCI outlet are ground fault protected outlets

If you use the LOAD terminals then regular receptacles will be protected. You can confirm that by pressing the TEST button. The regular receptacles will go dead if they are properly connected to the LOAD terminals.
