I see that link shows "simplified" and "interleaved" panels. Very interesting, I've never heard those terms before.
I see that interleaved describes pretty much all modern panels withing the last 35-40 years.
I can only think of two panels in history that would be simplified; Zinsco and PushMatic. Both are long gone.

If it is 3 phase 120/208 you can have 3 hots share one neutral . Very common in commercial wiring .

Same for 277/480 3 phase . Also very common for commercial lighting . Very efficient system .
