- Insulate 2nd story of a 1925 home. Sound proofing between floors and interior walls. Improve heating and ac in second story. Remove old deck and put in patio and fix front porch. Before any of this gets done I must have my house rewired because of knob and tube wiring.

You can also check out Roxul Safe and Sound. Besides the sound conditioning it also provides

The outside walls I don't feel are insulated at all but I will find that out in the next couple
