with 10 feet and only a 12 inch drop I would be thinking of bulding a small deck with a 6 inch

I"ve never tried this. Sounds like a tough spot. Great seal expands alot. Maybe fill tub up

Porter cable is a good brand. Keep in your not gonna use hard it every day. I've used an
electric compressor for years. Don't recommend them for roofing guns. Good roofers kill them

The only thing I would do at this point is find a similar shade system and try to see why yours
