All is well in Wonderland! Not a sound other than water flowing.BTW, after using the ball
valves instead of standard bibs believe they should be standard installation. Does the water

Tried the Clorox pellet some months ago without success. Will give the Dragon's idea a shot;

For Glenn and Square Eye:Had system bled from outside and changed the two water bibs to ball

Have 2 Gerber 1.6 gal toilets that flush water thru holes in the underside of the elongated
bowl edge. Find even with frequent cleaning ?mold? builds up and brushing causes black flakes

Made an early call on the toilet noise. Subsequently have realized we are back to zero. Heard
noise when kitchen faucet on and at turn off. Also can hear hum near front of house when MBath

Well had handyman friend replace the main valve with a ball valve yesterday. Glad I had someone
who knew what to do.Thought we had won the battle as I did not hear any hum from faucet water;

The ball gate suggestion is great. What material is recommended (Brass, SS, Brass/Bronze)?Meter

Glenn:It appears the only way to shut off the incoming water to the outside house main is at
the underground water meter. Are you aware whether city suppliers frown on customers turning
