If you are adverse to granite then look at Silestone or one of the other Quartz based products.

I've used Greenboard in a number of my bathrooms and never had experienced any problems. This

You can make straight cuts on the corner bead. I have used both nails and screws. Both work
fine. Just make sure they are sunk well enough that they create a little bit of a dimple.

You can attach the tile directly to the concrete floor, however if there are cracks or it is

If the manufacturer states you can lay the laminate directly on the concrete floor then by all
means do so. However, if your basement has a history of moisture problems you may want to first
