We replaced our kitchen countertops with a high end laminate that has texture. It was a
charcoal gray, actually, and it was stunning. Cheaper than granite and lovely.

ALPS has excellent suggestions. And for small garden folks in town where compost piles are not
allowed.....throw your coffee grounds on your flower beds.....tea leaves from inside the bag,
too. Cut up...

A tree that easily roots is a corkscrew willow. It's a lovely addition to landscaping and you
can take some cuttings of newer branches, set them in water, and plant when you have roots
