  I have a bathtub overflow plate that was removed. However the screws were so old that they
  snapped. I tried a pliers to remove them without any luck. Anyone have any other suggestions?

  The sink must be some kind of plastic or polymer, when you warm up the sink with hot water and
  the dump a bunch of cold water in it might crack or break, if you get it hot with a pot it
  might warp or ...
