  You may want to move elec. plug too.That's where it's been relative to the washer drain since
  the house was built. Any real reason it may be necessary?

  I did end up fixing the drop in the drain so that isn't a problem, and I did swap out the
  couplings, so that one was fixed as well. Not sure if I'll address the other issues.
