Short update to this fiasco before I get the camera... yesterday I was able to clear the clog.
With a plunger on my toilet. Go figure. I'll come back to report the results of the camera

Ah, that makes sense. Not sure if it's needed or just a best practice, but I'll try to
implement this once I remove the old panels.

CallMeVilla, wouldn't that be taken care of by those cross pieces already there? See second
picture. I agree it looks ugly.
