Thanks for the tips.I was given quotes in the $5000+ range for the removal of the existing
ceiling drywall (< 200 sqft of ceiling) and replacing it with QuietRock. :eek:wow that must be

you may get some small benefit from filling the cavity with rockwool, but probably not a huge
one. The kind of sound you are getting floor to floor is different than what you get from
