Structure not good. Able to stick screw driver there pcs where I patched. It's a battle
hopefully can last a winter or 2 more

Water got into whatever cracks there were, than it froze and cracked more

Issue with footings I found out when I added drain in my basement and had to take drywall down.
Foundation directly below where stairs meets foundation is all built out inside .... Basically

Thanks all. Took top piece off because looked funny and old owners used paper molding for top

Yes it's in the shower however about 4 - 4 1/2 ft from base of shower. I was more going for
repairing rather than spending the $$ to rip it out etc Thanks for the link , will look into it

How's it going ? I'm having an issue with water from shower going into window sill at times.
There was a blind but behind sill. I took paint off of the sill and notice part ( where handle
