  I agree with kok3258 get at least a few bids because every area is different based upon cost of
  living and state laws etc. Getting a few quotes will help you determine what is normal for your
  area.

  I have used Muriatic Acid also known as Hydrochloric Acid. WORKS LIKE A CHARM!!! You can find
  it at just about any pool supply store. Just make sure you use gloves, mask and goggles.
