I do a variation of what joecaption said. I take a bowl and put about a cup of vinegar in it.
Then I put some plastic wrap tightly over it and punch several small holes in it. The flies are

Based on the quoted figures, paying $25,000 more for the luxury of not having to fir out
interior walls is quite a premium. Wouldn't be worth it to me, but it's your $$$, not mine.
    Contractors love fo...

I think that study that GBR posted supports the notion that powered attic fans aren't a very
good investment if you're looking to cut AC costs or try to cool the house. What about moisture

I have an 800 square foot house. The roof has some cosmetic issues but it still serves its

strategery,

i have been researching methods to fix my red clay brick with deteriorating mortar as i have followed your posts to see what you have done. I also live in iowa/midwest and have began getting estimates from some basement specialists who "don't" know much of anything about specializing in red hollow clay bricks except that they are weak and need replaced!

my question for you, did you ever get to a conclusion or bail on the project.
