  • Posted in thread: How to straighten 1" Poly? on 02-28-2013 at 05:06 PM
I hope to be laying about 80' of 1" dinking water poly from the street/meter to my home. I'm in
NorCal coastal so we won't be getting a sunny day for awhile to soften and straighten it out of
    its coil...

My place is only 1100 square feet. The kitchen, bath, & master bath are all next to each other,
so 12' is my longest run. That's why I can get away with 3/8. But in a 2 story home with the
    water heate...

has .75 oz. Or look at it this way, it takes 46 feet of 3/4 pipe to hold a gallon of water, 91
    feet of 1/...

This is amazing! I've always hated soldering copper pipes because most of the time they don't
leak, so when they do I have no idea what I did wrong (I probably do one job a year, very
    occasional). But...

This may sound crazy, but it could solve your situation. I just modified my toilet to mount the
tank 6 feet high. It is just an experiment, but will allow me to put the toilet into a corner
    45% from e...

I'm completely redoing the water in my place. The cold water heater now is two feet from the
kitchen sink, same distance from main bathroom shower, 4 feet from main bathroom sink, and
    about 12 feet fr...
