from afar, it sounds like the blower motor died and it's tripping out on high limit. Could just

Did this model come with the red jumper wire in the box?...Many R/Shaws need that in older

Depending on the year of the trane xl, the older models had two screw holes on the flame
sensor. I remember one of my first times servicing one that I got it in the wrong hole and it

Sounds like you are describing a "whole house fan" mounted in the ceiling. If your furnace is
already in the attic getting fresh air, I don't see that it would be a problem to experiment
with sealing ...
