A Longhorns fans dream. Burnt orange countertops! Ugh.
The lovely pink and green splotch 80s wallpaper has to go! I also would like to add a door on "this" side of the vanity and open the space up to the commode.
Yup, the orange goes all around. The vent hood is plugged into the wall because there is no outlet up in the cabinet like "normal" houses. These were originally built with all-in-one ranges. I intended to have an outlet installed eventually.
The toilet room is TINY. You have to skirt around the door to close it. Luckily, I live alone and do not close it, but the toilet paper holder being mounted on the other side of the door posed a problem.
The pile of logs/wood by the tree was supposed to be removed. All I could do was drag pieces to the curb a few at a time for the garbage. Found a nice colony of termites and learned that home warranties do pay off.
I really hate those bushes. They're going to be evicted.
As a matter of fact, no, those bifold doors do not close. It's a nice nook, if only the window came down a bit lower.
I set my room up like this and it never felt right. I finally swapped the TV and sofa. I changed the light kit on the fan to match the other one.
I think this is supposed to be the dining area, but I'm not using it like one, either.
Blue just isn't my color. I'll have to do something about that. I have to stand on my toes to see in the mirror. What were they thinking?
Bedroom 2 is also quite large.
Home Sweet First Home! Also known as "The Doublewide."
Note the big giant doggie door in the storm door. Poorly slashed in by the former owner, I can't leave the back door open for air because the geckos come in.
Cramped feeling hallway needs a door with a window.
That celing fan is pretty low. I think it needs to go because there are too many ceiling fans in this house, but this is the warmest room. We'll see.
