When ever I strip wallpaper and than want to paint I always prime the entire walls with bulls eye 123 made by zinser. Even though you wash the walls there could still be paste residue left behind....

You will use allot more paint as someone has mentioned. I have worked with the Ralph Luran Suede or River Rock. It also takes extra coats to get an even look if thats what you like.
