ceiling fan wiring

hello has any sparky come across a brn color wire coming from the ceiling while wiring a remote cont ceiling fan. i always thought black hot green ground and white neautral and sometimes red another...

hi i would like to know if i have a good run capacitor but dont understand how to do the math on the mfd it is a 7.5 cap and it reads 7.02 is this a good cap and tolerance is 6% how do you calculate...

is it cost efficeint to have my ac coming on and off about every 20 minutes to keep the tempeture at a nice 78 degrees it just dont seem right . any suggestions

flickering lights

Hi
need help on ? my lights in my house are flickering even when my bathroom fan is on the light flickers like the juice is being sucked out of the fan. only 4 upstairs lights are doing this...
