They are cleats and I just bought some galvanized ones for an outdoor project. I got mine at Home Depot down the rope aisle.

Holes in Vinyl Siding

My son just bought a house. There are several relatively small holes (dime sized) in the vinyl siding. In lieu of finding the exact siding and replacing it, how else can he patch these holes?
