A real electrician should be able to get both plugs switched from one location. Probably with no damage to walls at all if there is access above or below. Maybe close in cost to. Just a thought, good...

If it is a pain to get to either end, just set a skill saw to cut 3/4 inch into studs, and cut a path from a to b that is 1 inch wide then staple wire to back of notches and put a metal nail plate...

try this dude....

I pull this trick once in a while at work when i'm stuck with the puke meter. Get an extension cord and take it to a good plug. Test hot to neut and to grnd should be the same both ways 118-125volts....

You take alum. to alum. or copp. to alum. and put together like regular junction, except you must only use a purple wire nut. It might be filled with the substance you mentioned....But you cannot...

is your entire house plastic plumbing including main line coming in? if so you should have two ground rods outside, with a #6 copper to them from neutral bar.

That device must be made in china! How the hell does the other end get changed to a 15 or 20 amp single pole breaker? further more, that is for a 4 wire plug. Does the o.p. have a four wqire plug?...
