It may also be a good idea to verify the VA or load voltage rating on the transformer. If it is too low, this could be the cause of your woes.

Also, it is a good idea to check the transformer. I would check both the primary and the secondary side. It is possible that the wires could have shorted out and blew the transformer.

Did you check the contactor. The only way the fan will run is if the contactor is energized. Something has to be keeping the contactor engaged. I would check the contactor to see if it is pulled in....

Well it turned out that the burners were clogged...
