Hi there..thanks for the quick reply...the sun was shining (in its zenith) at that point...I looked at the other roofs inthe neighbourhood that had the similar pitch as mine...same sort of "meltage"...

Hi there. I think I may have a similar problem. My downspout (at the bottom) was completely frozen..water that was coming out at the bottom was solid like ice...is this an early sign of ice damming?...
