What if it has firewall?

Ok. My husband says that we have a firewall separating our home from the townhomes next to us...does that mean the neighbors can't hear our bass or children screaming, or does it not matter?

Yep, they are to the left and right of us, but not above or below as it is a two story townhome. I forgot about bass being a possible issue. My husband has surround sound on the big screen...

Kind of like the fake grass that you can buy by the yard. Something that I can just lay down out there like a pallet or something. Even if it requires a little bit of hammering and nails I can work...

Is it really worth the money you pay for ADT to have them monitor your home? Is there any other security companies that will do it for a little less than what they charge?

Townhome Living and Noise

We just recently moved into a brand new townhome. We are concerned about our noisy three children disturbing the neighbors but a friend of mine told me that they build the townhomes now with buffers...

Lime and Snakes

Someone mentioned to me that laying lime down in your backyard would keep insects away as well as snakes, etc. Is this true ? Is it harmful to pets or like stray rabbits, squirrels, etc?

Fake Deck

We just bought a townhome that does not have any type of deck or patio in the backyard. The backyard is fenced in, really nice, but I would like to put some type of "fake" deck or patio out there...
