got it out. heated it up with a blow dryer a little to soften it and it poped right out.

sink overflow cap

I have a kohler drop in bath sink. the overflow at the top of sink has rust around it. how do I get the plastic cap piece off without ruining it? I want to check under it and paint if rusted. thanks

low voltage

have an older fusebox in the barn. some recepacles have low voltage. like 70 instead of 120. pulled out the main fuse breaker, the one side of leg. seemed to have some corosion on the screws....

yes, there is a chimney on the right of door....

yes, there is a chimney on the right of door. probably can't remove. my son can't really afford a new furnace

stair problem

there is a bedroom on right. when you come out you must almost step on the stairs. very dangerous, any ideas would be appreciated.
