oil hot water problem

i have a oil hot water heater and for some reason it quites every couple days. hit the reset button and works fine for a couple more days. any ideas

ok. i no it is a double switch with two switch lever, a three way switch has only one switch lever.now one lever turns on a ceiling light in the back room and the other lever turns on a outside...
