I don't have a blacksplash in my kitchen, I did some wall paper, it looks so tacky! and for sure that wasn't the best option (now I know) I been thinking about installing tiles, but how to install it, how to measure the area and then is it easy? I mean to install it? I want glass tile I want that luxury!!! some ideas?
 
By using glass tiles for your kitchen, you can make it look brighter.
 
Installing tile is actually pretty easy and inexpensive. Go to the library, your big box store (like Home Depot or Lowes) or Amazon on-line used books and get a book on tile. It will show you the basic steps for deciding the layout, gluing the tile and grouting it. YouTube has DIY videos as well such as:

One you do the first project you will realize that you can do whole floors and walls. And once it is done it is low maintenance and looks so much nicer than cheaper alternatives.
