Hi everybody, l always read up questions and answers in this site cuz its very insightful and helping. Now l have a problem l need some advice with.

l recently found out my bathtub has been leaking and therefore l have water dripping on my kitchen down below it, l know a thing or two about fixing and repairs so l got the leak fixed and taken care of, but the ceiling on my kitchen is dripping wet and soaked.
Does that post a molding threat in the future if l dont replace the drywall, or should l just let it dry, plaster compound , sand and paint, any ideas on how this will play out in the future if l don't replace the drywall, and what of the wood supports that got wet in between floors,
any help is greatly appreciated

Most likely some sort of mold or mildew will grow behind the ceiling and on the support beams, you'll need to remove the section and do a nice bleach down of the support beams to prevent any issues.
