We live in the middle of a 3-unit building - our downstairs neighbors started renting out their unit and unfortunately the noise level from their tenants has gotten a little out of hand. While I think the best treatment would probably be to their ceilings, they're not going to pay for that so any sound remediation is going to have to come from our side of the floor. I'm looking into options for laying down mass-loaded vinyl and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it or could recommend a brand?
