so, of course, I used the built-in applicator spout.
So, of course, this spout spread the stuff at twice the rate recommended on the container.
Same thing happened with one of these impeller spreaders for lawn care. Plus chemicals, we must have blown $50 on this stuff.
That thing dumped the granules no matter what setting I put it on.
Moral of this story in the context of capitalist countries:
You trade convenience for wasting your money.
If
you don't go to the trouble of weighing this stuff into an old soup can and monitoring the rate of dispersal
then
you will almost certainly be short-changed.
Do the math. Caveat emptor.
And most sump pumps are probably oversized.
When yours fails, measure the rate of refill for your particular sump to properly size the new pump.
