Looks like the joint in the drywall. I would tape, mud, sand & paint.
 
I'm a little worried, though. I have one room and hallway in which the floors have a slight slope and in the adjacent room there is a small hump in the carpet. This hump can be felt when walked on but not visible with the naked eye
 
CB, a little info...type of construction, brick, siding? On a slab, crawl space, full basement, townhome? Are the neighbors experiencing the same issues?
