Hey guys, the wood ceiling in our crawlspace is untreated at the moment. Would you guys recommend any type of "treat" or protection to coat the wood with? or is it safe to leave as is? The wood right now is not pressure treated, just natural. btw, the walls are concrete. Thanks in advance.

If the region in which you live has a problem with pests and wood, such as wood beetles or termites, the yes i would treat them. As far as concete walls just be sure that the wood is not touching it there must be a barrier between the wood and concrete, such as roofing felt 15lb, or a peel and stick membrane. Hope this helps.
