Can someone recommend a good book on rough framing? Something with pictures , lol.
 
Welcome to the site, this will start you started, mostly what you need to learn is the terms used so you can ask the dumb questions. They are all dumb questions after you know the answer.

Awesome thanks fellas. I'm also looking for something on paper if anyone has more suggestions. This seems very informative , just my only acess the the internet is a smart phone which can be challenging . Along with a fixer upeer , I'm off the map as far as cable and fios .It will also contribute to my bad spelling :rolleyes: . I will read this on my wife's tablet though. Thank you very much.
 
There are many books. Neal's link is an excellent resource ... You can build an inventory of books aiming at rough, finish, stairs, etc ... But, here is a place to start:
