Hi,

I am a new member and have the following question: I have a Craftsman Garage door opener that is about 4 years old. About a year ago it opened spontaneously, and it did the same thing about 2 weeks ago. Has anyone heard of this?

Someone is on the same frequency as your door. I have heard of folks living by the airport with this issue. See if you can get it changed.
 
Yes, I had the same issue. Neighbor was using the same frequency as I was. There should be some small white switches in a red holder on the rear of the opener. Just flip any one of the switches and you will be on a different frequency... Remember to change the same switch on each of your remote openers so everything is in sync.
