Hey,

I have a small gap between my concrete floor in the basement and the foundation wall. What's the best way to fix this? Or should I call a pro? Thanks.

You can buy a caulk made for concrete, If the gap is large you can also install a foam rod first. Any hardware store or big box store.

That joint is very normal because of the construction process.

As Neal said, use a backer rod if the gap is large. Since the slab may move differently than the wall, you need a good, flexible caulk. But the best you can possibly find/afford and not the cheap junk because the cheap stuff is horrible to clean up if it fails.

Excellent. That's what I figured. Thank you very much for your advice.
