A beautiful Cherry Blossom tree is the front yards central focus. Over 2 stories high, it was here when I bought the house in 2007. Now it hardly blooms & small branches are falling all the time. I don't know if it needs to be cut down or not. If so is it an expensive project? Or should I have someone look to see if it's diseased first?

Never had to do this before...all suggtions & direction are very welcome. Thank you....😊

Up here we need permission to cut down a sizable tree, the city will come out and tell us what the problem might be.

It would be best to consult a tree expert( such as myself)I don't know where you are but there should be one close and it should cost 0 :2cents:

You might have a County or State Ag. office nearby. They will answer many questions. Have you done any excavating or wall building anywhere near the tree? Roots are sensitive to depth changes.
