Hello, long time member here and long time since I posted anything here. Right now i am working on my old shower that have not been used in several years. Yes I have another shower I use:D. I remember there was a small leak from the handle not sure which one? I have removed the handle and now at a loss what to remove next?

Do you know the manufacturer? Usually it is on the handle of the shower. The cartridge looks like it is covered with caulk ... need to know if there is a holding pin (which needs to be removed) ...

Manufacturers sell removal tools that can really help. Moen and Delta, for example. Find out and then we can take the next step.

Thanks Villa, that was my first thought there is caulking covering it. Again this is an original set up when the house was built. So I have no clue on the manufacturer. I will look into it further and report back!
