A brick on the raised hearth of my fireplace has come loose and fell on the floor. What material can I use to "cement" it back in place? I need something I can buy in a small quantity as I only have to repair one brick.
 
Please post a pic to see whether your mortar has become dislodged as well, or just the brick popped out. That would allow the experts here to give you the proper fix.
 
Just be careful this is not a bigger issue around expansion and contraction with the heat.
