Can I mix modified thin set and quickcrete? I only ask as I am mixing some modified thin set first and then i am mixing some quickcrete to fix some mortar issues. I didnt want to have to wash and clean out the buckets between mixing if possible. (I am being lazy)

I wanted to check before i do it, if it is not preferred I'll buy two buckets or something. thanks

i know i shouldn't and its easier in a wheel barrel but yes...

Must be a tiny job. Depending on the compatibility of additives in the 2 different materials, there may be some problems. Such as delayed set, or little strength, or complete matrix failure.

Just go splurge, and buy a second bucket.

haha, its a 2 dollar bucket, i'm sure I can afford it. Now im thinking i might buy one of those sled looking things to mix a few bags. Thanks, ill keep them separate!

I tried to mix 1 bag in a bucket once, I gave up and thru it all in the hole and mixed there:rolleyes:
Bucket up here are 5 buck, what's up with that.
